Frequently Asked Questions

How old do you have to be to participate?

We accept ages 9 to 18 for our CLUTCHH Club sessions - you will be grouped with participants in the same age category. For sessions in person with Helen we can cater for any age 6 and above.

Can my parent/caregiver stay and watch?

Of course! Parents and caregivers are welcome to observe from a reasonable distance. However, minimal interaction is preferred in order to maximise the session content and engagement. Drop off and pick-up is also just fine - please ensure contact details are accurate and up to date.

What should I wear?

We recommend wearing comfortable training gear (t-shirt/singlet, leggings/shorts etc). Try to also wear your preferred shoes for playing matches in (it’s best to practice your shooting in what you’ll be playing games in).

Why can I not select a session?

Helen will personally set session times and dates according to her schedule. These will be advertised via Instagram, however session availability will be extremely limited. Once set dates are sold out, there will be no possibility to secure a session until the next set of dates are released. We operate on a first come first served basis.

What do I need for the in-person sessions?

- suitable exercise gear/trainers of choice

- hair tie for long hair

- water

- warm clothing for any outside sessions

- if you want to bring your own ball that is encouraged but not necessary

- anything you’d like Helen to sign

- a phone or camera for pictures should you wish

Can I participate even if I’m not a shooter yet?

Yes! Perhaps you want to give shooting a try, or you aren’t certain if defending is for you. At CLUTCHH we welcome aspiring shooters of any ability. However, please note that our session content is entirely focused around being a shooter! Helen’s expertise is in this area and unfortunately we do not offer defending or midcourt sessions.

Which sessions allow me to meet Helen?

All sessions currently available involve working with Helen in person.

Our CLUTCHH virtual programs that are coming soon do not include a face to face with Helen, but do involve zoom sessions with her as a group.

What do I need for the CLUTCHH virtual sessions?

- a netball

- a post

- suitable exercise gear/trainers of choice

- water

- hair tie for long hair

- notepad and pen

- internet connection + laptop/iPad/smartphone to view the session and participate on the zoom session

What is your cancellation policy?

If you need to cancel your booking, you can email helen@clutchh.com.au and provide your booking details. If done so up to 7 days prior to the session, a full refund will be issued. If cancelled within 7 days, a 50% refund will be issued. Unfortunately, if cancellation occurs within 24 hours of the session, no refund will be given.

In the event of injury or illness prior to a session, a full refund will be issued following presentation of a valid medical certificate no later than 48 hours after the session.

Does Helen have a valid Working with Children Check?

Yes! Helen is fully cleared to work with children as required by the NSW Department of Education. Evidence of her Working with Children certificate can be given if necessary.
